INTERSCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION 2018

HOSTED BY BAKHSHI’SSPRINGDALES SR. SEC. SCHOOL

An Inter School Debate competition was organised by Bakhshi’sSpringdales Sr. Sec. School under Kota Sahodaya Complex banner on 4th Dec 2018.

Mrs SuryavathKumar (rtd. Teacher) andDr.Anuradha Singh (associate Professor) were the judges for the day.

Total 12 schools were registered for the debate .

The topic of the debate “Coaching for competitive exams whilst in school as dummy students hampers the proper development of a child`”

Football and Basketball Tournament 2018

Kota Sahodaya Schools Tournament – 2018-19 for Football and Basketball were organized from 24th Nov to 27th Nov under the banner of Mittal International School.

Four days series of Football and Basketball matches started with opening ceremony on 24th Nov. The opening ceremony commenced with the declaration of ‘Tournament Open’ by Principal of MIS and Vice President of KSSC Mrs. Sangeeta Kacker by unfurling the bunch of balloons. Mr. Jaiveer Singh Principal of Vidhyashram School honoured us with his kind presence.

The tournament was followed by 15 teams participating in the event. Day wise detail of both the tournaments is as follows :

Day 1 (24th Nov) : We had 4 matches of Football. The detail is as follows :

27th Nov was the last day of Kota Sahodaya Tournaments 2018-19. On the occasion of closing ceremony Mrs. Sangeeta Kacker (Vice President of KSSC) welcomed Er. Pradeep Gour (President of KSSC), Mrs. Lata Kothari (Secretary of KSSC), all the coaches from various schools of Kota and she congratulated both the teams played in the Final match of football.

In the end all the winning and runner up teams were awarded trophies and certificates by Er. Pradeep Gour, Mrs. Sangeeta Kacker & Mrs. Lata Kothari.

Trophies were given to all coaches and referees for their excellent commitments with their teams. Three special prizes were given to the particular students from different teams for their best performance. Tushar Meena of MIS was awarded as Best Player for his excellent performance in Football.

The program was concluded with the motivational words of Er. Pradeep Gour who appreciated all the coaches and specially the whole team of MIS staff members for conducting the show in such a grand manner.

Inter School Spelling Competition

26th October 2018, Vidhyanjali Academy, Bandha Dharampura, Kota hosted the Inter School Spelling Competition organized under the aegis of Kota Sahodaya Complex.

In all 40 participants from 20 member schools participated in the event. The competition was divided into three rounds. The first round was of Dictation and Missing letters, the second round was based on Magical Basket & Proper Pronunciation of words and the final round which was the finale was of Jumble words & the Rapid Fire round. All the rounds had their own interest in them. Every team performed very well, but in the end, the teams that did extremely well, came out victorious. The winners were as below:-

1st Position – Bakshi’s Springdales School, Kota
Runner up - Arcadia Academy School, Kota

President of Kota Sahodaya Complex Er. Pradeep Singh Gaur gave away the prizes to the winning Teams as well as encouraged with few words to all the participants, Words of inspiration was also given by Dr.Lata Kothari, General Secretary of Kota Sahodaya Complex.

Runner up - Arcadia Academy School, Kota

The extended Thanks was given by Director Ashima Goyal and Principal Neeta Audichya.
